Liberty Park

Liberty Park is Renton's oldest park facility. The 12-acre park was purchased from the Sartori family on July 14, 1914, and was first known as "City Park." This name was later changed to "Liberty Park" to commemorate World War I. Liberty Park has continued to be the City's major park and playfield area. It also serves as the venue for the Renton River Days celebration.Liberty Park Play Area

    To reserve a ballfield, obtain a permit from the Renton Community Center or call 425-430-6700.

Directions:

From I-405 North:

Take Exit 2 (Renton/Rainier Ave.) Head North on Rainier Avenue to South 3rd and take a right. Continue on 3rd and take a left on Mill Avenue South. Continue on Mill and veer to the right, which is Bronson Way. City of Renton Library is on your right. Liberty Park is directly after the library.

From I-405 South:

Take Exit 4 (Renton/Enumclaw). Stay in the lane marked Bronson Way/City Center. The road will veer to the right, which is Bronson Way. Liberty Park is located on the left.
