Special Event Road Closures

Khalsa Day Parade, May 5

Renton is host to special events on an annual basis.  Each event serves a unique role and adds to the spirit of our City.  Let us know how we did with the rolling and temporary closures on Talbot Road South and SE 200th Street, and include suggestions you may have to improve on our efforts for future events.  Your feedback is important to us.

Cedar River Trail Closed

Trail ClosedThe lower portion of the Cedar River Trail has re-opened from Wells Avenue to the Renton Senior Center.  The section between Bronson and Wells Avenue North remains closed at this time due to water over the walkway.

Renton Survey Results

The City of Renton conducts a survey of our community about every four years. The survey also provides important feedback that helps us get a better understanding of the residents’ and business community’s experience with city services, and helps advise city leaders as they assess future projects and services that may be desired by the community.  Learn more.

It's not too late to get your tickets. Go to www.siff.net

Renton is honored to be a part of the longest running, largest and most highly attended film festival in the United States. Hosting SIFF will draw thousands of visitors into Renton from throughout the region and the world to experience our city, restaurants, hotels and other businesses. In addition, hosting SIFF in Renton will allow us to showcase Renton as a great place to live, work, learn and play and place us on the map as a city with a thriving arts and culture scene.

SIFF in Renton is sponsored by the Renton Community Marketing Campaign, a partnership that includes the City of Renton, Renton School District, Renton Technical College, Valley Medical Center, Renton Chamber of Commerce, and Renton Visitor's Connection.
